Vic: Teenage girl fights off bus stop abductor

Police in Melbourne have released a description of a man they'd like to question in
connection with the attempted abduction of a 15-year-old girl.

The teenager fought off the man as she stood at a bus stop with a two-year-old child
in bayside Port Melbourne on Saturday.

A police spokesman says the man grabbed the girl by her upper arm and tried to drag
her to his car.

He let go after she fought back, striking him several times.

The incident took place at about 11am at the corner of Graham and Nott Streets.

The man is described as aged 30 to 35, 185cm tall, slim, with dark brown hair, a goatee
beard and tattoos on his arms and chest.

He drove a late model red Holden Commodore sedan.
