NSW: Men who killed man, burnt his body jailed

SYDNEY, Feb 23 AAP - Two men who murdered a cigarette seller in a knife attack and
then burnt his body were both jailed for more than 10 years today.

Michael Patsalis, 32, and Alexios Spathis, 31, were found guilty last year of murdering
of Klaus Peter Ludwig at Botany in Sydney's south in April, 1996.

Justice David Kirby in the New South Wales Supreme Court said Patsalis, a compulsive
gambler with debts, was the dominant person in the crime and persuaded Spathis to help
him rob Ludwig.

Patsalis befriended Mr Ludwig and lured him into a trap …
